Midas Twins Records is gonna release "...'Till I Run Out Of Road" - the third solo album by FERDY DOERNBERG - on May 26th.
There's rarely one to find who hasn't already collaborated with the multi-talented keyboarder and slide-guitarist: He's the songwriter and keyboarder in his own metal band ROUGH SILK, plays keys now for 10 albums in a row with
AXEL RUDI PELL - and has worked together with JOHN WESLEY HARDING, GAMMA RAY, JON OLIVA (SAVATAGE), TOM ANGELRIPPER, EMMA BUNTON (SPICE GIRLS),
OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, POWERGOD... just to name a very few.
For his third solo he again recorded most of the instruments himself - except for drums and bass where he was joined by Mike Terrana (known for his work with RAGE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TONY MACALPINE), his brother Curt and ROUGH SILK bass player André Hort.

SHELTER Play WITH FULL FORCE & DOUR Festival!
Popcore inventors SHELTER, the band around hardcore legend Ray Cappo, are confirmed for Germany's XIII. With Full Force Festival, which will take place near Leipzig from June 30th to July 2nd.
SHELTER will release "Eternal", their first album after a 5 year hiatus on Dockyard 1 on May 15th. Ray says about it: "Living with very similar values but speaking to a completely parallel community, I want to indulge my old fans with a lost CD, with songs I had written but never recorded – until now."
"Eternal" consists of 10 of those new songs and a remake of 'In Defense Of Reality', the opening track of the 1991 album "Quest for Certainty".
See the tourdates and check back on our website for updates as there are more gigs to come.

WALTARI showcase at FME
Finland's finest WALTARI play a gig in their hometown Helsinki at Finnish Metal Expo this weekend. Also guitar player Sami Yli-Sirniö is giving a guitar clinic during the fair.
"Blood Sample", the long-awaited follow-up to "Rare Species" will be in stores on March 27th!
|
 |
Shelter are back! The inventors of Popcore just put the song "Eternal" on
their Myspace-Profile, the first song since 2001 when Ray Cappo put his most successful band on
hold. The title track of the upcoming album is like the missing link between "Mantra" (out 1995
on Roadrunner) which sounded like the invention of popcore where Ray & Porcell were adding the smile
of pop to the energy of hardcore. The album is tentatively titled "Eternal" and will be out on
Dockyard 1 on May 22nd.

WHITESNAKE stands for great songs like "Still Of The Night", "Is This
Love?", "Cryin' In The Rain", "Here I Go Again", "Ain't No Love In The
Heart Of The City" and many more ... And the upcoming DVD "Live – In The
Still Of The Night" contains them all! The DVD features the 2004 with 26
cameras recorded concert at the Londoner Hammersmith Apollo.
Hardly to believe is "Live – In The Still Of The Night" is the first
DVD of the "Hard Rock Legende" to be published in Europe.
It will appear in two differend versions, once the "regular" DVD, plus a
ltd. Edition as CD/DVD Box, which will include ten literally selected
songs on an additional Live-CD named "Selected Cuts".
"Live – In The Still Of The Night" – that means a concert of high class.
Nothing less but two hours of classic Rock hits in a row, the
appropriate preparation for the next tour.
Original scheduled for November 2005 "Live – In The Still Of The Night"
has been postponed to January 27th, 2006 due to the fact that production
needs longer than expected. Find the offical statement from the
management below:
"We regret to inform you that the November 2005 release date for the
DVD, “Live...In the Still of the Night”, is being pushed back until
January 27th of 2006. As our team worked toward the November date it
became apparent that it was increasingly unrealistic, and rather than
force the timeline we decided upon the delay. We sincerely regret any
inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused, but we are
confident that upon final release you will see & hear that it was worth
waiting for! We recommend you check regularly with the WS.com for any
further updates." David Masters, Whitesnake Management
